Justin Sams Band on "The Art of Songwriting"
JSB songwriter Tom Spach, who is also "a radio guy", hosted a 30 minute, 13-part radio interview program called "The Art of Songwriting" that aired twice weekly on WMLB, Atlanta's "Voice of the Arts". The show was made possible by non profit Gateway Performance Productions. During the series, Tom actually had a chance to interview JSB's other songwriter Lindsay Petsch, and get some unique insights from him on songwriting in general and his own process and influences in particular. Some of the other songwriters who talked about their songwriting and presented their music on the show are : Caroline Aiken, Bonaventure Quartet founder Charles Williams, Susannah Masarie and Sue Wilkinson. For those who love music and especially those interested in the art of songwriting, the series is enlightening, insightful and motivating.
In Week 1 of "The Art of Songwriting", Tom's collaborator and the show's co-anchor, Sandra Hughes, interviewed Tom as a songwriter himself.
Later in the series, Tom interviewed JSB songwriter Lindsay Petsch on "The Art of Songwriting"
Justin Sams Band on WRFG's "Sagebrush Boogie"
JSB was invited to appear on Atlanta's venerable live music program "Sagebrush Boogie". Produced by the program's gregarious and skilled host David Chamberlain, WRFG FM's "Sagebrush Boogie" is a precious local jewel and one of the few places on the dial to hear songwriters perform their songs and be interviewed live on the radio. During the 1 hour program, JSB played 5 songs live.
